3rd-year B.Tech (AI & ML) at PES University, EC Campus. Founder of Khojapp.in โ€” a campus lost & found platform with 500+ users. C4GT DMP '26 contributor: migrating Helpline104 healthcare UI at Piramal Swasthya, mentored by IIIT Hyderabad. GSSoC '26 open-source contributor. I write about building in public, AI systems, open source, and the specific chaos of shipping real products as a student. Not tutorials. More like notes from the field.

What happens when you combine quantum mechanics with a classic game of dice? You get unpredictability at a whole new level โ€” and thatโ€™s exactly what I built! Welcome to my Quantum Dice Game, a fun experiment driven by Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG).

๐Ÿ’ก The Idea

Most games rely on pseudo-random number generators โ€” algorithms that simulate randomness. But in the world of quantum physics, randomness is real.

In this project, I used the principles of quantum uncertainty to simulate a dice game. Every roll is backed by true quantum randomness โ€” no predictable patterns, no repetition, just pure probabilistic magic.

๐Ÿ” Key Features

  • ๐ŸŽฒ Quantum Dice Simulation โ€“ Each roll is generated using QRNG principles.

  • ๐Ÿ“Š Probability Tracker โ€“ Visualizes outcome frequencies over multiple rolls.

  • ๐ŸŽฎ CLI-Based Game Interface โ€“ Lightweight, no-frills, and fun to use!

  • ๐Ÿ”„ Replay-Friendly โ€“ Keeps rolling until you're ready to quit.

โš™๏ธ Tech Stack

  • Language: Python ๐Ÿ

  • Core Logic: Quantum-inspired randomness

  • Libraries: random, matplotlib for visual stats

๐Ÿงช How QRNG Works (Briefly)

QRNGs use quantum phenomena (like photon path uncertainty or electron spin) to generate numbers. Unlike classical RNGs that are deterministic at heart, QRNGs are inherently non-deterministic. This allows us to simulate outcomes with true entropy, making it ideal for cryptography, simulations, and โ€” why not โ€” games!

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป Why I Built This

As a first-year B.Tech student and quantum computing enthusiast, I wanted to merge learning with fun. This was a creative way to internalize quantum randomness while sharpening my Python and simulation-building skills.

Also, who wouldnโ€™t want to say theyโ€™ve built a dice that listens to quantum mechanics?
